Welcome back! We hope you have all enjoyed your break and the Queens Jubilee Festivities!
We all enjoyed some great community learning and especially the Jubilee activities and the arrival of our very own “Fountains Queen”.
This term we are looking at “Pebbles on the beach” as a topic, we will take part in some water-related experiments, looking at the seaside and beaches and use Julia Donaldson's story “Sharing a shell”.
We will also have our school sports day, a visit to the Derby open centre, our School summer Fair and end of year performances and award ceremonies.
We will sadly be saying goodbye to some of our friends in the Turtles class who will be moving on to their High Schools, We wish them all the best and hope they enjoy their new and exciting journey.
Once again from all of the Turtles staff, a big thank you for all your support and we aim to make this last half term of the School year as memorable and fun as possible in all of our learning activities, in and out of the School.
