Seals Newsletter - Summer Term 2

Welcome back, we hope you all had a great half-term holiday.

Before half term Seals class explored the topic ‘Are we there yet?’ We went around our local community looking for different modes of transport. Children designed their own vehicles using different resources. In P.E. we have been using different wheeled bikes to explore different ways of moving. A special surprise happened, we were visited by the immersive Space Dome experience. We all had so much fun exploring space in the large inflatable dome.

On our last week of school, we celebrated Elmer Day. We explored a range of colourful activities to celebrate reading, elephants and accepting yourself and others. We also celebrated the Queen’s Jubilee, we had a great time exploring with our peers from across the school's EYFS department.

This half term our topic is: Do cows drink milk? We shall be exploring different animals such as farm animals, ocean animals, and zoo animals in this topic. Also where food comes from, animals that live in different environments, growing plants and crops, animal body parts and farm machinery.
