School Uniform

We believe that a uniform provides a sense of belonging for our children and that it helps foster a good learning environment and ethos for everyone in school. We do, therefore encourage our parents and carers to follow the uniform policy, however, it should not prevent a child from attending school.

  • White polo shirt, blouse or shirt

  • Royal blue sweatshirt

  • Dark grey trousers or skirt

  • White, grey or black socks or tights

  • A royal blue and white checked school dress or shorts may be worn in the Summer term

  • Wellies for Forest School

  • Plain t-shirt

  • Black shorts and trainers

 

Games Kit

  • Dark coloured outdoor tracksuit

  • Trainers

 

All items should be clearly named and a bag to store them in.

Swimming

  • Swimming trunks/shorts or costume​

  • Large towel

Optional

  • Swim nappies must be provided for all children who normally wear nappies*

  • Hats for all pupils with longer hair

  • Goggles - for those children whose parents have given permission to wear them

*Please ask Jo Howard (Swimming Teacher) for advice on purchasing swimming nappies.

Please ensure all children bring a named water bottle into school.

This can be kept in school to refill on a daily basis.

SAFETY IN PE LESSONS

It is very important that children are appropriately and comfortably dressed for their activities. Changing for such activities also helps with developing personal independence skills.

NB: No items of jewellery should be worn e.g. earrings, chains, rings etc.
