Hello! We hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and the children are excited to be back and ready to enjoy this half term!
This half term our topic is ‘Once Upon a Time’ and your child will explore the wonderful world of stories. They will listen to a range of traditional tales and will explore the sensory story boxes. The children will be visiting the local library and will choose a book to share in class. They will have the opportunity to go and visit and castle and explore small world castle and knights play. We will also take a walk over the trolls bridge like the Three Billy Goats Gruff! The children will continue to take part in independent, 1:1 and group activities across all subjects incorporating our Autism progression curriculum and Life Skills programme and will continue to take part in visits into the community enabling independence and confidence, which we all know the children (and staff!) thoroughly enjoy!
