Penguins Newsletter - Summer Term 2

Writer: Fountains Primary SchoolFountains Primary School

Welcome back to our last half term of this school year; we had lots of fun before the holiday exploring a range of water activities, taking part in Elmer Day and celebrating the Queen's Jubilee!

This half term our project is “How many pebbles on a beach?” We will be building sandcastles, listening to the sound of the sea, finding sea creatures in our water play and looking at photographs of ourselves on the beach. We are looking forward to taking part in Summer activities and enjoying a Seaside Day, Fountains Festival and Sports Day.

Vicki, Megan and the Penguins team.

Homework - We have loved hearing about your ’WOW’ moments at home on your ’High Five Hands’; keep sending them in! We have had a positive response from parents who have enjoyed exploring some of the suggested homework activities. Please return your homework books to school by Monday 13th June ready for your new activity sheet for this half term.
