Welcome back after the Easter holidays; we hope you have had a lovely break and look forward to welcoming the children back to school and nursery for a busy half term! We are excited to welcome Megan to our team as Class Teacher and Beth joined us at the end of last half term, working as an apprentice.
Last half term, we had lots of fun exploring Healthy Eating; making pizzas, smoothies and planting vegetables. We celebrated Easter with a visit from baby lambs and joined in with our Easter Bonnet Parade. Our Reception children enjoyed visits into the community on our school minibus and we all had a fabulous time at Play World as part of our PE in the Community offer.
This half term, our topic is “Why is water wet?”. We will be exploring lots of water play, practising our pouring with big and small containers, splashing in puddles and making marks with watercolours. We are looking forward to celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee together!
