Welcome back!
We hope you have had a lovely break and the children are excited to be back. We would love to hear about any stories, or see photographs, of their adventures or achievements using the half term snapshots sheet that was sent home.
Over the previous term, the children have taken part in independent, 1:1 and group activities across all areas in a child-initiated environment and have had the opportunity to regularly visit the sensory room, ball pool, swimming pool, adventure playground and trips out into the community. We particularly enjoyed out trip to Garden King pumpkin walk and the Wacky Warehouse. The children have been developing their social skills through playing alongside their peers and beginning to acknowledge their presence.
This half term we will continue our topic ‘Why do squirrels hide their nuts’. We aim to experience lots of opportunities in nature during our outdoor learning sessions and explore woodland environments.
With the led up to Christmas, we will be taking part in loads of festive activities and celebrations, including our Christmas lunch and whole school production.
We welcome our new Teaching Assistant, Karen, to Seahorses team; who is excited to work with and get to know the children.
I look forward to supporting the children in their learning and watch them grow and achieve as young individuals.
