Forest School Blog W/E 15.07.22

Week Ending Friday 15th July 2022

This week has been very busy, preparing for the end of term leavers ceremony and awards ceremony. In addition, some classes have had their individual Memorable Experience days, thankfully, the weather has been kind to us and the children have had some lovely sunny days.

In the awards, ceremonies on Tuesday and Wednesday Forest School have celebrated awards for two pupils, who have been put forward for their work and overall achievements over the academic year.

Pupils have also had a wonderful day today at ‘Fountains Fest’, which was a whole school event and the children took part in face painting, bunting making, karaoke and open mic sessions, and a DJ. The ‘Bubble Man’ and ‘Stilted Drummers’ gave an entertaining performance and pupils danced excitedly after them.

As part of the day, in Forest School we used willow to make a festival style head garland, using fresh flowers and ribbons to decorate.
